Ramadan Charity Guide: Best Causes to Support in 2025
This Ramadan, your Zakat and Sadaqah has the power to make a difference, bringing hope, relief, and support to those in desperate need. Ramadan is not just a time for fasting and prayer, but also a chance to uplift vulnerable communities through acts of charity. Whether it's offering aid to our brothers and sisters in Gaza and Yemen, providing clean water to communities facing scarcity, caring for orphaned children, providing livelihood, or healthcare support, each cause gives you the opportunity to be a source of mercy and compassion.

During the holy month of Ramadan, we seek ways to self-purify, reflect, and give back to our communities. There is no better time to make an impact in Muslim communities, both locally and globally.

The people of Gaza have endured over 16 months of suffering, with tens of thousands of casualties and over 1.9 million Gazans internally displaced. The lack of access to food and water has caused severe malnutrition, particularly affecting pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children—who are the most vulnerable.
We are working through our partner UNRWA to provide necessities to the people of Gaza.

The Prophet (saw) said: “I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him will be in Paradise like this” (he joined his index and middle fingers).
For just $2 a day, you can sponsor an orphan in some of the world’s most underprivileged communities. By doing so, you will not only follow the beautiful Prophetic Sunnah, but your gift will support all aspects of a child's well-being—from education and healthcare to emotional support and nutritious meals.

If you’re unsure where to allocate your Sadaqah or Zakat, consider donating to the Where Most Needed Fund. Your gifts will be directed to where the need is greatest, whether that’s providing emergency relief in disaster zones, educating children from disadvantaged communities, or supporting healthcare programs. Our experts will ensure your donation has a far-reaching impact on the Ummah.
