Ramadan 2025: Give the Gift of Compassion

The holy month of Ramadan is a time for self-reflection, purification, and spiritual growth. It offers an opportunity to focus on improving ourselves and becoming better individuals. This month can be a rewarding time to make a difference in the lives of people in underprivileged communities.

This Ramadan, let's come together and find ways to unite for positive change. Through generosity, compassion, and building connections, we can make this Ramadan truly transformative. Giving charity during this month has several benefits, making this the perfect time to contribute towards charity that will continue to reap rewards for you and your loved ones. Prophet Muhammad (saw) said:

“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them.”

At Muslim Hands, we are dedicated to ensuring that people in developing countries have access to nutritious meals, especially during this sacred month. This Ramadan, we are involved in initiatives that provide meals for those in need during Suhoor and Iftar.

You can help by giving the gift of a community Iftar, providing meals for 100 to 500 people in regions facing food insecurity. Muslim Hands collaborates with donors and recipients to ensure the right projects are implemented to meet the needs of various communities, along with staying up-to-date on current events that impact marginalized populations. We also tailor projects to accommodate specific requests. Whether you're interested in building a water well, an eye camp, a health unit, or a classroom, our team of experts will help bring your vision to life.

This Ramadan, provide a community iftar in Pakistan (Lahore and Multan) and Mali (Bamako). Your contribution fosters the spirit of unity and community, making a lasting difference. It also provides a source of sustenance for those who struggle with accessing food to break their fasts during Iftar.

Beyond Ramadan, we continue to support vulnerable communities year-round by addressing their unique challenges through various initiatives:

Water: Our specialized construction projects help communities suffering from a lack of clean water. We provide solar-powered boreholes that use the sun's energy to bring fresh water from deep underground, along with filtration plants that make previously undrinkable water safe for daily use. You can also give the gift of a water well, including a Tube Well, Dig-a-Well or a Community Well in water deprived regions.

Livelihood: Muslim Hands empowers communities by offering opportunities for economic growth, such as training widows in tailoring, providing livestock to farmers, and gifting chicken farms to female-headed households. These initiatives help create self-sustaining incomes.

Health: We support health initiatives, including cataract treatments in community eye camps and running maternity clinics in deprived areas. Muslim Hands ensures that those in need have access to the healthcare they deserve. Most our healthcare initiatives are in countries like Mali, Niger, Pakistan, Senegal, and The Gambia.

For every project you support, you'll receive a personalized feedback report, including photos of the project and its beneficiaries. This report also includes details like the project’s location (village and city), so you can see the impact of your gift. All contributions are Zakat-eligible.

Make a lasting impact this Ramadan by transforming lives through your Sadaqah and Zakat.
