Community Well

Access to clean water can transform the lives of an entire community. Community water wells can serve more than 1,000 people, their livestock, and crops for over 15 years. They are often located in arid areas where water is particularly scarce.

The wells are 1.5 metres wide and draw water from depths of around 10 metres or more, making them dependable year-round. These water wells provide enough clean water for families, livestock, and crops.

How long will it take to build my well?

A well can take up to 6–8 months to complete, as in some locations, construction is only possible during certain times of the year.

Track your impact

You will receive a receipt with your reference number, confirming your donation.  Please quote this reference number in all communication regarding your well. An electronic feedback report, including images and information about your well, will be emailed upon completion.
