Ultra-filtration (UF) technology removes particles and macromolecules from raw water to make it safe to drink. The filtration plants will be installed in areas with limited access to clean water. Each plant includes a borehole, a room to house the machinery, and water collection points.

The clean water produced will help reduce waterborne diseases in children and adults.
