Welcome Muslim Hands Canada
We’re proud to launch Muslim Hands Canada, an NGO and international aid agency dedicated to tackling the root causes of poverty in some of the world’s most disadvantaged countries.
In the areas where we work - countries like Mali, Sudan, Niger and Pakistan - there are too many people who face malnutrition and death from lack of food; too many families are thirsty and unable to water their crops due to lack of water; and too many children are trapped in the cycle of poverty due to lack of opportunity.
With your help we can change the lives of people who have nothing, working with them side by side to build a better future.
MH Canada is an independent charity but we work in partnership with the worldwide Muslim Hands family, based in Nottingham, UK. This means we are able to draw upon their vast experience at helping people in need and our programs are supported by their incredible infrastructure and expertise.
This year Muslim Hands UK is celebrating its 25-year anniversary. In that time it has grown from a small community of volunteers to an impactful international aid agency helping millions of disadvantaged people all over the globe.
Over the years MH has:
- Given an education to over 50,000 children, supported over 375 schools worldwide and employed almost 2,500 teachers.
- Reached over 5 million people with emergency relief.
- Provided clean, safe water to over 2.5 million people across the world.
We’re delighted that our supporters in Canada now have the opportunity to continue this great work.
