Eid Al Fitr Salah Times in the GTA

Muslim Hands

Eid Al-Fitr, which translates to "the celebration of breaking the fast" in Arabic, is on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. The festivity begins upon the sighting of the crescent moon, indicating the beginning of the month of Shawwal in the Islamic Hijri calendar.

As we gather to pray and seek blessings on Eid Al-Fitr, let us reflect on our intentions and aspirations for the coming year. It is a time to set spiritual goals, seek forgiveness for past transgressions, and strive for self-improvement. Eid prayers remind us of the importance of maintaining a connection with our Creator throughout the year.

We’ve compiled a list of Eid prayer times for some mosques within the GTA.
