As we mark one year since the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, it’s essential to acknowledge the devastating toll of this situation.  Through this crisis, we want to thank our donors and partners -- who continue to provide life-saving aid to the people of Gaza.

Over the past year, we have witnessed the tragic loss of over 40,000 Palestinian lives, with over 96,000 injured.

The humanitarian crisis continues to escalate, with the risk of famine and mass starvation looming. According to the World Food Programme, Over 2 million people are facing crisis levels of hunger, highlighting the urgent need for aid.

Not to mention, the catastrophic impact of this situation on children.

In a social media post, Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General for UNRWA said:

“...Children have been the first and most to suffer. Beyond the killing and injury, every child in Gaza is traumatized many with life-long invisible scars. More than 650,000 children are losing another year of learning.”

We are working through our partners, the World Food Programme (WFP) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to distribute food, water, and other necessities as part of our Gaza emergency aid efforts.

Thanks to your generosity, we have contributed $200,000, which has helped provide over 216,000 meals along with vital supplies such as water and emergency supplies.

Our Gaza emergency relief funds play a critical role in delivering life-saving support, ensuring that essential food, water, and other necessities reach those in dire need.

The approaching winter season poses significant challenges for the people of Gaza. Inadequate sanitation has caused sewage to flood the streets, putting the most vulnerable at risk of serious illnesses such as cholera and polio. Those who are acutely malnourished and have weakened immune systems face an even greater danger, making them susceptible to deadly diseases.

By donating to our Gaza Emergency Appeal, you can continue to support vital relief initiatives that can save lives and bring hope to those affected by this ongoing tragedy.
