A temporary truce has commenced amid the conflict in Gaza. More than 1000 trucks are anticipated to enter through the border, transporting essential humanitarian aid such as food, water, and medicine.

While a four-day pause may not be sufficient, we must capitalize on every opportunity to provide crucial life-saving aid to those in dire need.

We are working through our partner UNRWA on the ground to support civilians in Gaza whose lives have been affected by this tragedy.   As of 23 November, more than 14,532 people have lost their lives in the Gaza Strip. Seventy-four per cent of them are children and women.  The scale of displacement is equally alarming, with over 1.7 million people forced to leave their homes.

You can make a difference by donating $150 which can provide an Emergency Food parcel providing nutrition to a family of seven for one month.  Supporting the restocking of medical supplies for $955 can aid the injured and the most vulnerable.  $250 can provide a survival pack which can include food items, essential medical support and hygiene kits as well as blankets. Alternatively, you can donate $650 which can provide clean drinkable water to 80 people.

Let’s do all we can to offer hope to the Gazans who are living in unimaginable circumstances. They need our help to make it through this ordeal. May the blessings of Allah (swt) be with you and your family.
