Eid Al-Fitr, which translates to ‘the celebration of breaking the fast’ in Arabic, is expected to take place on Friday, March 20, 2026. The festivity begins upon the sighting of the crescent moon, indicating the beginning of the month of Shawwal in the Islamic Hijri calendar.
