The Nuseirat Health Centre in the Gaza Strip is running, providing vital healthcare services to the community.  The number of people in Gaza facing extreme levels of hunger has doubled in less than three months, increasing to 1.1 million today.

Among the dedicated medical professionals who work tirelessly at the clinic is Dr. Angie Shahin, a pediatrician, and a displaced person.

Dr. Shahin shares updates about a campaign that began during her time as a displaced person in Rafah.

"In partnership with UNICEF and the World Food Programme, UNRWA medical teams embarked on a collaborative campaign aimed at assessing the prevalence of malnutrition among children aged six months to five years.”

The clinic is now expanding this campaign. Dr. Shahin explains, "Our primary objective is to provide enhanced care for the children in our community. We have started offering fortified nutritional supplements, readily available at our clinics, to support their overall health and well-being."

Through dedication and hard work, Dr. Shahin and her colleagues ensure that every child receives the best possible care.

With famine looming in Gaza, there is an urgent need for clinics like these that can help children who face the deadly consequences of hunger.

Muslim Hands is working through our partner UNRWA to provide necessities to the people of Gaza. $300 can provide an Emergency Food Parcel that can provide food to a family of seven for one month. Your gift of $250 can provide a Family Survival Pack which includes emergency food items, medical support, as well as hygiene kits and blankets. $650 can provide clean drinkable water to 80 people.
