Empower a Child with a Disability
According to UNICEF, nearly 240 million children worldwide experience some form of disability. Many face challenges in accessing the care and opportunities they need to grow.
Sponsor a child with a disability in Pakistan for just $60 a month ($2 a day) and provide them with essentials like meals, healthcare, a secure environment, and specialized services including rehabilitation, vocational training, and education.
Muslim Hands supports children with visual impairments, learning disabilities, and those who are deaf. Currently, we have partnered with Al Muddassar Trust, one of the few institutes in Pakistan, working for the rights of these children and their families.
In a society where children with disabilities face neglect and a lack of support, your generosity can allow these children to learn, grow and reach their full potential.
By supporting this cause, you can ensure children receive the care, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.

What Type of Children Does Muslim Hands Support?
Muslim Hands supports children with a range of disabilities, including children with visual and physical impairments, learning disabilities, and those who are deaf. We focus on children living in rural areas who would otherwise have limited access to education.
These children often face barriers as many mainstream schools lack the facilities and professional expertise to accommodate their specific needs. By partnering with specialized institutes, we aim to provide these children with the opportunities they need to become the best versions of themselves.

What Does Your Sponsorship Provide?
Your orphan sponsorship provides specialized education designed to support each child’s unique needs. Through partnerships with specialized institutions like Al Mudassar, we cater to children with physical impairments, learning disabilities (such as autism or dyslexia), and visual impairments.
Children with physical impairments receive mobility aids like wheelchairs and rehabilitation services, while children with visual impairments receive walking sticks and Braille resources. Children who are deaf are taught in sign language. This collaboration ensures every child you sponsor is empowered with the tools he or she needs to succeed.

What Does my Sponsorship Include?
Muslim Hands Canada works closely with Al-Mudassar Trust to provide dedicated staff, teachers and healthcare professionals, such as psychologists, doctor and therapists that have the appropriate qualifications to support children with disabilities.
Our organization ensures that sponsored children receive transportation to and from school. Students will receive uniforms, books, stationary, and daily meals. Your sponsorship also ensures that children have access to any specialized equipment that they may require.

Why Should I Sponsor a Child with Disabilities?
By sponsoring children with disabilities, you provide them with an education they would otherwise be denied. In many rural areas, children with disabilities often have little hope, as mainstream schools don’t meet their needs.
Your support allows them to receive an education in a safe, inclusive environment, free from judgment, so they can learn and thrive.
