Give Your Zakat With Confidence This Ramadan
As a Muslim charity serving the Ummah since 1993, we understand that Zakat is more than charity, it’s a pillar of our faith and an act of worship.
The Muslim Hands family has been tirelessly distributing your Zakat for over three decades. Your Zakat has been a lifeline for people in need, funding some of the most critical rehabilitation projects around the world.
Your funds have helped us provide essentials like food and water to people impacted by conflict and disaster, without which they may not survive.
Zakat is a compulsory act of worship stipulated by Allah (swt), intended to purify our wealth. A person who is sane, an adult (reached puberty), Muslim, and owns wealth above the nisab must pay 2.5% of it as Zakat.
This Ramadan, trust us with your Zakat and make a difference in the lives of the vulnerable.

What is Nisab?

Nisab is the minimum value of total wealth one must possess in order to pay Zakat. It is defined as the value of 87.48g of pure gold or 612.36g of silver. Most scholars favour the lower value as it means that more people can pay Zakat and therefore there are more beneficiaries.
