Lebanon is facing one of the world’s most severe economic and humanitarian crises.
Since 2019, the country has experienced a prolonged financial collapse, pushing millions into poverty and forcing many families to struggle for basic necessities.
According to the World Food Programme, around 874,000 people in Lebanon are facing crisis or emergency levels of food insecurity, while over 80% of the population is living in multidimensional poverty (UN ESCWA). Rising food prices, unemployment, and ongoing instability continue to leave families unable to afford essential food.
