The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain, which grows seven ears; in each ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies His reward for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and all-Knowing.

The Noble Qur'an 2:261

This Ramadan, remember the divine promise Allah (swt) has made to all those who give charity – the more you give for the sake of Allah, the more Allah will give to you.

Allah has promised that He will multiply the reward of giving charity by at least 700 times. When you give your Zakat and Sadaqah, you are not only helping someone in need - you are also investing in your akhirah.

Your generosity can be a lifeline to those affected by war, poverty or disaster. By giving more this Ramadan, you can save countless lives while gaining Allah’s pleasure in this life and the next.

Follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw) and increase your generosity during this special month just as he did. Don't miss out on the blessings of this divine promise. Give More, Gain More.

How Your Donations Made the World a Better Place

Throughout the Holy month of Ramadan last year, our donors enabled some incredible changes and support to be offered to those in need around the world. At Muslim Hands, we were humbled by the depth of generosity shown by our community’s donations during Ramadan - we were blessed to have been able to help over two million of our brothers and sisters in need.

While our teams are on the ground to assist impoverished communities and provide necessary life-support systems, as a Ramadan charity, we are not able to do this without your contributions and we are excited to show you all the places your kindness made a difference. For Ramadan 2019, we hope to help even more people. We are getting ready to build safe water systems, help to restore our precious mosques, deliver life-saving medical aid and provide nourishing food to refugees in need.

Where Your 2018 Ramadan Donations Went

Give Iftar

Double the reward of your fast by feeding a fasting person! By giving iftar, you can make sure that those most in need will enjoy a nutritious meal after a hard day of fasting.

Give Water

Dirty water is the biggest obstacle to health and progress in developing communities around the world. Roughly 5.7% of all illnesses or disabilities around the world are caused by unsafe water.

Give Zakat

With so many suffering around the world right now, there has never been more need for your Zakat. Give your Zakat Al-Fitr/Fitrana before Eid so that others may benefit in Ramadan.

This divine promise was made by Allah (swt) to all who give selflessly to help the poor and needy. We are truly blessed to know that the more we give, the more we will gain, by the generosity of Allah.

‘And establish prayer, give Zakat and obey the Messenger so that mercy may be shown to you.’ [Qur’an 24:56]

Such is the importance of Zakat that it is mentioned in the Qur’an alongside Salah 30 times, and literally means ‘purification and increase’. Zakat is a compulsory charity that each adult Muslim, of sound mind, must give each year if their wealth exceeds the value of Nisab.

With the reward for Fard acts multiplied by 70 during the month of Ramadan, there is no better time to give your Zakat.

Jariyah: Years
of Rewards

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. [Muslim]

From education and water schemes, to orphan sponsorships and livelihood programmes, our Sadaqah Jariyah projects enable people to help themselves beyond the initial intervention, ensuring that both them and you reap the benefits for years to come in sha’ Allah.

Reap the rewards this Ramadan and give towards one of our Sadaqah Jariyah projects.
