Receive the Abundant Rewards of Feeding Iftar
As Muslims across the world break their fast and fulfill their obligations to Allah (swt), let’s reflect on the words of a Hadith that quoted the Prophet Muhammad (saw). "He who gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will receive the same reward as him, except that nothing will be reduced from the fasting person’s reward."
This Ramadan think about the countless families across the globe, who will remain hungry well beyond iftar. They depend on your support to observe fasting and fulfill an important religious obligation.
Our teams are on the ground distributing Ramadan food parcels in emergency zones like Somalia, Türkiye, Gaza and Yemen, as well as in Mali, Niger, Senegal, the Gambia and Pakistan.
Your Zakat and Sadaqah will help us feed tens of thousands of people at the brink of starvation, particularly the most vulnerable: orphans, widows, and people with disabilities. They are counting on you. Be the Change this Ramadan.
Feed Those Suffering This Ramadan
What's Included in a Ramadan Food Parcel?
The Prophet (saw) said, “Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person’. [Tirmidhi]
A Ramadan food parcel contains essentials such as flour, rice, sugar, tea, cooking oil, and dates. Each parcel is tailored to meet local requirements.
Each food parcel can include 360 Ramadan meals, so by feeding these families you can earn the rewards of 180 Ramadan fasts!
Your donations will feed families in underprivileged communities, tackling the deadly effects of hunger.
Emergency Food Parcels for Gaza
Despite a ceasefire, many Gazans are still in desperate need of aid.
Muslim Hands Canada is working through the World Food Program to deliver your Sadaqah and Zakat in Gaza.
Each food parcel weighs 41 kg and provides sustenance to a family of five for 30 days.
The parcel contains canned beans, canned chickpeas, rice, lentils, vegetable oil, iodized salt, and date bars. To ensure ongoing support, the total parcel is split into two 21 kg deliveries, provided every 15 days.
