The Cause

800 million people around the world do not have access to clean water and face obstacles to their health and prosperity daily. An estimated 842,000 people die each year from diarrhoea due to unsafe drinking water and every minute a new-born dies from infection caused by lack of safe water. Women and children spend 200 million hours a year collecting water, this is a colossal waste of time, keeping them locked in a cycle of poverty
unable to earn or study for a brighter future. Access to clean water saves lives and whole lot of time!

With your support, we will build a Dig a Well in the country of your choice, that can serve up to 200 people, providing access to clean water for drinking, washing and cooking, as well as keeping livestock hydrated. On average, these wells serve up to 35 families.
