As winter approaches, countless families face the cold without protection - no warm clothes, heating, blankets, or enough food. Rising costs, ongoing conflicts, and climate disasters are worsening their struggles.
For refugees in tents, children on the streets, and the elderly, freezing temperatures can be life-threatening. Many displaced families have been forced to leave their homes multiple times and now face winter with nothing. They depend on your support to survive.
This winter, Muslim Hands is responding with urgent relief. In Gaza, we are working through the UN World Food Programme (WFP) to distribute hot meals, food parcels and bread to the people of Gaza.
Our teams are also providing essential winter aid, including blankets, warm clothing, and food parcels to struggling families in Pakistan, displaced communities in Yemen and Lebanon, as well as locally within Canada.

Gaza’s Winter Crisis
Amidst the ongoing conflict, Gazan’s continue to endure hardships this winter. With temperatures dropping and harsh weather conditions, survival has become even more difficult.
The dangerously cold living conditions, especially for vulnerable populations such as children, the elderly, and individuals with health issues can lead to an upsurge in winter-related illnesses, further burdening an already strained healthcare system.
The destruction of infrastructure, food insecurity, and displacement exacerbates the struggle for safe shelter during the winter months.
The winter months in Gaza serve as a stark reminder of the ongoing humanitarian needs in the region, emphasizing the urgent call for support and assistance to help families endure the cold and secure a better quality of life.
