Hosted by the Islamic Foundation of Toronto (IFT), this year's carnival takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM at 441 Nugget Avenue, Scarborough.
Admission is free, making it one of the GTA's most accessible and anticipated summer events.
Now recognized as one of the signature events for the Scarborough Muslim community, the IFT Community Carnival welcomes more than 13,000 visitors from across the Greater Toronto Area each year. What began as a local gathering has grown into a beloved summer tradition that brings together families, friends, neighbours, and visitors of all backgrounds for a day of celebration.
Led by a passionate team of youth volunteers, the carnival offers something for every age. Experience breathtaking views from the iconic Ferris wheel, explore a vibrant Grand Bazaar featuring handcrafted goods, modest fashion, and cultural treasures, and indulge in a fully halal food festival serving mouthwatering BBQ, international street food, sweet treats, and classic carnival favourites.
Families can enjoy live entertainment throughout the day, a dedicated children's area with face painting and cotton candy, and a spectacular car show showcasing impressive vehicles from across the community. As the sun sets, the celebration concludes with a dazzling fireworks display that lights up the night sky.
