Kick off the new year at Roots of Gold – Sudanese Gala, returning for its second year at the Palacio Event Centre. This is an event where compassion turns into action.

Hosted by the McMaster Sudanese Students Association, Roots of Gold is made possible in collaboration with Sudanese student associations from Brock University, Carleton University, Western University, Toronto Metropolitan University, the University of Calgary, the University of Ottawa, the University of Regina, the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, and York University.

Proudly supported by Muslim Hands Canada, all proceeds from this event will go toward supporting those impacted by the ongoing crisis in Sudan.

Guests are encouraged to dress in formal attire with touches of gold and enjoy a refined evening celebrating culture, connection, and shared heritage.
