Through our teams on the ground, Muslim Hands is distributing Ramadan food parcels in the following locations:

Non-Emergency Zones: Pakistan, Mali, Senegal, Niger, The Gambia Emergency Zones: Yemen, Syrian Refugees (Turkey), Somalia

Each parcel is tailored to meet local requirements and feed a family of five for the entire month of Ramadan.

How does my donation help fight hunger?

Your donations have a direct impact on reducing the hunger crisis.

Our teams on the ground deliver your Sadaqah and Zakat to families facing starvation, saving lives and curbing disease outbreaks.

Malnutrition, for instance, weakens the immune system, making individuals, particularly children and the elderly, more vulnerable to infections and diseases.

A Ramadan food parcel contains essentials such as flour, rice, sugar, tea, cooking oil, and dates. Each parcel is tailored to meet local requirements.

Each food parcel can include 360 Ramadan meals, so by feeding these families you can earn the rewards of 180 Ramadan fasts!

Your donations will feed families in underprivileged communities, tackling the deadly effects of hunger.

Do you provide cooked meals or just food parcels?

We also provide cooked meals to families in crisis. For instance, we are working through our partner, the World Food Programme, to provide hot-cooked meals to the people of Gaza.

How many people face the detrimental effects of hunger?

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) hunger is an “uncomfortable or painful physical sensation caused by insufficient consumption of dietary energy.”

despite enough food to feed the poor, approximately, 733 million remained hungry in 2023. According to the United Nations, approximately 49 million in 43 countries are facing the imminent threat of famine. The top five countries facing high levels of hunger include the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria and The Sahel.

Can I donate a custom amount?

Our food parcels have a fixed price; however, you can donate any amount to our Food Fund, which provides food for needy families.

Is this appeal Zakat-eligible?

Donating Ramadan Food Parcels is Zakat eligible. Just make sure you select the Zakat option from the drop-down menu.

How do I know my donation is reaching those in need?

We have teams on the ground in countries including Mali, Niger, The Gambia, Pakistan and others, highlighting how your donations are making a difference.
