Our local programs provide hot meals, winter essentials, and support for youth and families experiencing homelessness, while fostering stability and resilience.

Food insecurity continues to worsen in Ontario. For the ninth consecutive year, more people are visiting the food bank. Feed Ontario’s Hunger Report (released December 2025) reports that more than a million people relied on food banks over the past year.
Unemployment rose across Canada in 2025. In August 2025, the national unemployment rate reached its highest since 2016, as 66,000 jobs were lost, placing pressure on families already struggling to make ends meet.
The rising cost of living is further straining Canadian households. Grocery prices increased by approximately 4.7% year over year, marking the fastest rate of increase in two years.
