Eid Mubarak!

Muslim Hands

On behalf of everyone at Muslim Hands Canada, we would like to extend our heartfelt wishes to you and your families for a blessed Eid al-Fitr!

We are incredibly grateful for your unwavering support throughout the holy month of Ramadan. Thanks to your generous contributions, we have made significant strides in transforming the lives of vulnerable communities, both near and far.

Our Impact

Throughout this blessed month, we’ve collaborated with the World Food Programme (WFP) to provide thousands of hot cooked meals to Gazans, along with emergency food parcels, and fresh bread for displaced families.

We distributed Ramadan food parcels in countries such as Niger, Senegal, The Gambia, Pakistan, Mali, Turkey (for Syrian refugees), Somalia, and Yemen. In addition, we provided Eid gifts for children in developing countries. We also help establish livelihood projects such as Hope Shops, which empower female entrepreneurs in vulnerable communities by helping them create sustainable businesses that provide long-term income.

Our team also hosted community Iftars in Mali and Pakistan. Your support allowed us to provide thousands of families with tube wells, dig-a-wells, and community wells – giving them the precious gift of water.

Locally, we collaborated with Mishka Social Services and distributed food parcels for Canadian families struggling with food insecurity. We also hosted an Iftar advocating for orphan sponsorship, and raised funds at various mosques.

These are just a few of the many initiatives our team embarked on in Ramadan 2025.  We are grateful for your contributions. Your Sadaqah and Zakat changes lives.

Eid al-Fitr Celebrations

As you celebrate Eid al-Fitr this year, be mindful of those around the world whose celebrations are vastly different. Let’s remember those who are spending Eid in tents, the children who don’t have new Eid clothes or a lavish spread of sweets to feast on. Keep those in your prayers who are affected by political conflict, food and water scarcity, and fragmented education and healthcare systems.

If you have yet to pay your Zakat al-Fitr, please make sure to do so before Eid Salah. You can find details about Eid salah locations and timings in your area, read Eid Salah Locations and Timings.

May this Eid bring you joy, peace, and success in all your endeavors.

Eid Mubarak once again, from all of us at Muslim Hands Canada.
