What is the 'Where Most Needed' fund?
The Where Most Needed Fund is a flexible, responsive fund designed to address ongoing humanitarian needs. Humanitarian challenges are constantly shifting, whether due to natural disasters, global conflicts, or other emergencies. Even though we have several funds including the Emergency Fund, Food Fund and others to support our work in specific areas, the Where Most Needed Fund is there to help when funds fall short. For example, if there is an immediate need to assist pregnant women in Mali and Niger, and there are not enough funds in our Motherkind Fund, the Where Most Needed Fund can come to our rescue. The fund can help support various projects including providing clean water to communities in need, supporting orphans, and covering other urgent costs. The fund ensures we can continue our work, addressing immediate needs when and if they arise.

The Where Most Needed Fund assists individuals and communities facing urgent and ongoing crises in countries as diverse as Gaza, Yemen, Mali, Niger, Pakistan, Somalia and others.
Its flexibility enables us to quickly direct resources to areas of greatest need, whether in response to natural disasters, conflicts, or other emergencies.
In addition to immediate crisis relief, the fund supports livelihood programs, orphan sponsorships, and other vital initiatives that help improve long-term well being.
